While I do think that could be used in interesting ways it unfortunately doesn’t do what I’m looking for as it lets you use a single ability and continue whereas I am trying to be able to use a max of two abilities in a round regardless of order or what abilities are used.
With the method you show you can use a single ability then follow up with another but you can only do it for this one ability as if you have this modifier set for every ability you could use each ability twice or if you have it set to a single ability you have to use that ability to go the second time.
