Hey Stoner,
I haven’t had similar drop rates – still getting mostly gold/gems from creatures/curios. Checking the loot files between this and the last patch (pre-antiquarian) the only differences are the addition of the Antiquarian Loot tables and… what MUST be a bug.
In loot table “T” (deals with trinkets only) the chance of getting a common trinket is vastly higher than any other trinket type. The prior ‘weight’ of getting a common trinket was 40. For comparison – very common is 45, uncommon is 10, and rare is 5. The NEW value for common trinkets is… and I kid you not… 10000040. Yes. The others are unchanged.
As for selling heirlooms – I have not attempted to add cash-values to them I don’t see why you couldn’t do so. You’d need to change the inventory.json file and add a sell value to them. I have no idea how to balance that, nor if when you ‘sell’ them via quest-completion if they would also contribute to your heirloom totals. Finally I know of no way to vendor them from the estate screen aside from the newly added heirloom exchange.
