We learned in the early days from the forum too.

There are few main tricks/thing to watch out for to spiriting.

A) From Photoshop, be sure to get the SuperPNG plug in. Cause PS save the PNG transparent differently. (you will get odd artifacts)

B) See where the allowable space for moving spirts. The game use a program (forgot what it is call) to animate still spirte images. That is why each image come with a Skel and Atals file. For the 3 moving images (move, idle, and combat), they are in pieces, bounded by some invisible box. You can see the area of boundry if you put like a solid background to it, and see it in game. This make it harder to tweak those images, as you still need to keep it within the boundary.

C) Not sure if anyone find a way to edit Skel-file yet, beside changing its targeting file name.

A messy method I have to do is cut out all the parts of one sprite, re-assemble it, convert it to what you need (while still within allowable size), but you could better match between two pieces of parts, de-assemble it back to the sprite sheet in parts. Fun fun fun.

For other combat images, they are just one static, so as long as you are still within the size, you are good to go.
