Ok, just tried it out (new game) and found it decent. Apparently debuffs, bleed and poison are much more important here. It will take a while to figure out if this will really change the hack and slay concept. I mean, lets face it, in DD Vanilla just attacking for dmg is usually the most effective way to win.
What left the biggest impression is something negative though: The ridiculously op corpses. Guaranteed double blight for 3 on lvl 0 is just to insane, they are actually stronger than the monsters. It should be 1 dmg at most. Personally, i wouldnt change the corpses at all.
