I like the concept… but could see that there are still room to improve (for skill).
Not that its bad, but my suggestion is start slow.
First would suggest just mod the existing classes’ skill. Thats pretty easy (and easily be done with notepad)
And once ready, can start playing around with the art assets. Do a color variation first, and tweak some small parts, before venturing into full art retweak (since there are still lots limitations to character moding when it comes to animations).
After that, you are ready to copy it over and port it as a new class.
Its a long and hard process, but you will enjoy the fruit of seeing your own class in game.
And lastly, use this forum. There are lots helpful people and resources.
